What are the supplements?

Green Lean

Clearing and Support Packs
Single serving "pill" packets containing multi-vitamins, minerals, digestive enzymes, probiotic support and mild detoxification formulas. You'll support your liver, kidneys, gastrointestinal tract and lymph system. The multi-vitamins support sustained health. We include the Clearing and Support Packs to assist with removal of toxins that are released as you shed fat. How does the 28-Day Program work?

The Protein Lean Power Food Diet comes with a user friendly, easy to follow Guide Book. The Book also includes recommendations for water consumption, meal suggestions, exercise integration and tips for success.

Days 1-7 : ELIMINATION
You'll kick-start your fat burning program by taking Green Lean and Clearing and Support Packs, and by eliminating all inflammatory foods, known allergens and "toxic" foods from your diet. You will have a specific chart of "allowed and prohibited foods" to follow, making your daily food choices easy.

Your eating plan will include 3 meals and 2 snacks daily – throughout the program.
Your schedule for taking Green Lean and Clearing and Support Packs will remain the same throughout the program.

Days 8-14 : ACCELERATION
Your food choices, guided by the chart of "allowed" and "prohibited foods", are quite wide ranging. You will continue to eat 3 meals and 2 snacks daily in this Step, simply replacing one meal of your three meals with a Protein Lean Power Food smoothie (we recommend breakfast).

Days 15-21 : INTENSIVE
By the third week of the program your body is ready for the intensive diet plan. You'll restrict the consumption of "high starch" foods to one serving per day and consume two Protein Lean Power Food shakes daily as meal replacements.

Days 22-28 : BALANCE
The last week of the diet integrates your previous three weeks and helps you prepare for ending the diet. You will take the Green Lean and Clearing and Support Packs as you have throughout the program and you'll replace one meal daily with Protein Lean Power Food.

Q. Why is the list of allowed fruits so short?
A. The fruits recommended on the Protein Lean Power Food Diet are low glycemic fruits. The list is short for the duration of the diet. To get the best results, we recommend that you stay within the program guidelines. Fruit is not intended to be a large portion of your daily food intake during the 28 days.
Q. Do you have salad dressing recommendations?
A. Use small amounts of olive oil (or other allowed oils), an abundance of herbs and spices and lemon or Braggʼs Liquid Aminos. You can also use small amounts of balsamic vinegar.
Q. What nuts or seeds are allowed? My favorite snack is almonds and almond butter.
A. Follow the allowed foods for nuts and seeds. Almonds are high in fat and are on the prohibited foods list.
Q. Is grilling food in a pan ok?
A. We recommend steaming, which adds minimal fat. Next would be grilling outdoor, or in the oven. Last would be frying, which require heating oils. Heated oils become rancid in the process of cooking at high temperature and become toxins. Itʼs best to minimize meals cooked by frying foods.
Q. What cold water fish do you recommend?
A. Chilean sea bass and halibut are always good choices. The best way to check out fish is at a local fish market. Some markets like Whole Foods have information up front. Make a trip to the fish market as an “educational journey”. Youʼll also leave knowing whatʼs available and be able to plan future shopping trips.
Q. How can I see what is the best fish for my locality?

Q. Do you have a recommendation for reheating other than the microwave oven?
A. Yes, use a simple bamboo steamer and place your food on it over a pan with boiling water. Use a two tier steamer if you have vegetables and meat, with the meat on the bottom. It will heat quickly, itʼs easy to clean up, and your food will be moist and stay tender. Limit your use of the microwave as much as possible.
Q. What is the status of corn and corn flour, can I have corn based snacks?
A. Corn and corn flour is on the prohibited list. Keep them out off your plate during the Diet. (See starches, grains & cereals)
