Protein Lean Chocolate Oatmeal
Chocolate Protein Lean and Gluten Free Oatmeal

This recipe was invented to provide high quality, easily digestible protein at breakfast. The gluten free oats won't bloat you and you'll start your day with the best breakfast – protein and carbs. This is also one of our favorite post-workout recovery foods, it will fuel your body and the glutamine in Protein Lean will help with muscle recovery. 

1 cup          Gluten free rolled oats
1-1/4 cup   Water
3 scoops   Chocolate Protein Lean Power Food 
1-1/4 cup  Water
2 tbsp        Maple Syrup
4 tbsp        Freshly ground flax seed (fine grind)

1.  Mix Chocolate Protein Lean Power Food in 1-1/4 cups water 
2.  Set aside the Protein Lean mixture
3.  Add rolled oats to 1-1/4 cup water and cook on medium heat
4.  When the oats are almost cooked, add the Protein Lean mixture
5.  Cook until the oats are done on low heat, stirring constantly
6.  Turn heat off
7.  Stir in the maple syrup and ground flax seed 

Measurement note: The scoop found in the Protein Lean canister is approximately 1/4 cup.
