Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Protein Lean Chewy Vegan Oatmeal Cookies

We love these cookies. They're easy to make, chewy and are a wonderful oatmeal and raisin cookie. They're also completely vegan, gluten and lactose free and have no white sugar. Each cookie contains protein from Burn & Build Body's Protein Lean.

This recipe makes about 18 cookies.

Ingredients
1/2  cup        Gluten free flour
   2  scoops  Protein Lean Power Food - Vanilla Cream Flavor
1/2  tsp          Baking soda
1/2  tsp          Salt             
1/2  tsp          Cinnamon
3/4  cup         Sucanat                                        
   2  tbsp        Maple syrup
1/4  cup         Applesauce
1/4  cup         Canola oil
1/2  tsp          Vanilla extract
   1  cup         Gluten free rolled oats       
3/4  cup         Organic raisins

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix together flour, Protein Lean protein powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
Set the flour mixture aside.
Mix the Sucanat, maple syrup, apple sauce, oil and vanilla together in a medium bowl.
Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until blended.
Stir in the oats, followed by raisins.

Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes.

Drop the mixture onto the cookie sheets by using a rounded tablespoon.
Bake for 12-14 minutes.
Let cool for about 5-8 minutes on cookie sheets.
Then carefully place onto a wire rack.

Note: One "scoop" of Protein Lean equals approximately 1/4 cup. There is a measuring scoop inside each canister of Protein Lean.
